Given Haas is out in addition to Reynolds I am going to back Panthers for the win. Ezra had the performance of his life against the Panthers in last year's final and I expect him to find some of that magic for this game. Dylan Edwards was strong last week and based on the data, Broncos have defensive exposure in the Center. Over 5.5pts for the Broncos and over 11.5pts for the Panthers in the first half also seem good value based on round 2 data (Broncos scored 12 pts and Panthers 16 pts by half time last week).

Call me crazy, but the Broncos at $4 has to be the best value of the week. Reynolds hasn't been great this season so far. So no Reynolds, no biggie. Everything is against em', so all the more reason to win, and win well. This means there's value to be found, and boy have I found it here. Panthers are yet to hit their stride, so Broncos to Win by 13+ isn't out of the question. EDIT.. You can get the same odds for Either Team to win by 13+.

Panthers v Broncos sets up to be a lot closer than the bookies are giving credit for. Looking to see the Panthers playing tight through the middle targeting some slower Brisbane forwards. Moses Leota comes off a try last week and looking to keep a good thing going. Deine Mariner...enough said. Great value for a two leg multi. Go get em.

Difficult game for the broncs with Reynolds out and a few under an injury cloud. I'm going with Penrith (Under the proviso that Payne and Ezra are playing) to win a close one. Taylan May has been an absolute beast to start the season and the Bronc's edge defense with new combinations has looked a little suspect so have put him in there. I still expect the broncos to score at least two tries so 2.15 for 11-20 seems like the most logical outcome.

JFH's absence leaves the Panthers vulnerable, having lost to the Tigers in 2023 without him. The Broncos, showing resilience even without Reynolds with a 2-1 record last year, are a steal at $4. Piakura goes over along with a couple of snapped Panthers’ ankles and it looks like Broncos weakness in 2024 is their middle so watch Sorensen capitalise. Neds coming through with a whopping $160, thank you very much!

The left defense of the Broncos has been exposed and undermanned a few times this season. I dare say the Panthers would have picked up on this, and will be punishing it Thursday. If you take Ezra out of this you'll end up with a nice 20-1 multi that I'll be backing as well
