How does this differ from a normal tipping comp?

Traditional tipping competitions focus on quantity — you pick every game, earn 1 point per correct pick, and whoever gets the most points wins. If you miss a round in those comps, you fall behind and can't catch up. We do things differently: You're ranked by profit, not total points. Missing a round doesn't put you behind — your ranking is based on percentage, not accumulation. Pick the Bulldogs to win at $3.20 and they win? You're up 220%. Pick the Storm at $1.20? You're up 20%. Higher odds = more points. Picking underdogs correctly will boost your rank faster than backing favourites. Think of it as strategic tipping — you're competing for cash prizes, not risking your own money.

Do I have to pick every game?

No. Only pick the games you're confident about. We rank you based on the picks you make, not the ones you skip. Missing a round won't hurt your ranking.

Is there a minimum number of picks I need to make?

To qualify for prizes and appear on the scoreboard in any market, you need to make picks for at least half the games during the season. For example, with 204 total games in the NRL season, you'll need at least 102 picks in the Line market to compete there. Each market has its own requirement. To qualify for the Overall scoreboard and prize, you'll need to make picks in 50% of all the other markets, including head-to-head, line, match points and tryscorer.

How do private leagues work?

Create a league for your friends, family, or workmates. Each league has its own leaderboard so you can see how you stack up against your group. You can join multiple leagues and compete in both the global competition and your private leagues at the same time.

Can I join mid-season?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Join anytime during the season. Your profit percentage is calculated from the picks you make, so you're not disadvantaged for joining late. Private leagues can also start from any round.

How do I win prizes?

Prizes are awarded at the end of the season to the top performers in each market. The higher your profit percentage, the higher you rank. You can win prizes across multiple markets. To qualify for prizes you need to make picks for at least half the games during the season in any given market. For example, to compete in the Line market, you'll need to make at least 102 line picks (out of 204 total games).

What happens if I miss a round or match?

Accepted Answer

Nothing. Unlike traditional tipping, there's no penalty for missing rounds or matches. Your ranking is based purely on the picks you actually make, not the ones you skip. For example, if you only make 4 picks at $1.90 and don't feel confident in the other 4 matches in a round, and all 4 of your picks win, you'll be up 360% for that round. Someone who tipped all 8 matches but only got 4 correct would likely have a lower profit percentage.
