What are credits?

Credits are the game's currency. Every player gets 1,000 of them at the start of each gameweek, and you stake them on the markets you fancy. They aren't money and can't be bought, deposited or withdrawn. They exist to make the picks meaningful — backing something at short odds with everything you have is a very different call to spreading it around.

How am I scored?

On what your winning picks return, not on how many you got right. Your score for a gameweek is everything your winning picks returned. The stake isn't taken back off it and a loser costs you nothing, so a favourite at 1.20 backed with 500 credits scores 600, and a 6.40 shot backed with 100 scores 640. That's why picking more winners doesn't automatically put you higher than someone who picked fewer at better prices — and why you want every credit working.

How do combos work?

A combo joins picks from different fixtures into one bet, and multiplies their odds together. Three picks at 1.91, 1.65 and 1.92 pay 6.05x rather than the three separate returns you'd get backing them individually. Every leg has to land — one loser and the whole combo goes down. Build one by adding a pick to your slip, then choosing to make it a combo. Legs must come from different fixtures.

What happens to credits I don't spend?

Nothing — they expire at the end of the gameweek. Unspent credits don't carry over and they don't count towards your score. Since a losing pick takes nothing off your score, holding credits back protects nothing — it only caps what you could have returned. Stake the lot. There's no advantage in sitting a gameweek out, and no way to build a war chest by not playing.

What if I miss a gameweek?

You score nothing for that gameweek, but you're not penalised beyond that, and the next one starts you level with everyone else on 1,000 credits. The season table is the sum of your gameweeks, so missing one costs you ground on the leaders without putting you out of it.

Question 6

Can I play against my friends?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Create a league from the leaderboard, then share the code or invite link. A league doesn't change how you play — it's the same picks, in the same competition, ranked against just the people in it. You can be in as many as you like, and you'll appear in the global table regardless.

What can I bet on?

Accepted Answer

The main markets on every fixture, with alternate lines on the ones that ladder: Match result Handicap Total goals Both teams to score Correct score Anytime scorer Prices come from the real market and move as it does, so what you see is what the bookmakers are offering at that moment.

Question 8

When do my picks lock?

Accepted Answer

At each fixture's kickoff. Picks on later games in the gameweek stay open until those games start, so you can keep building through the weekend. You can remove a pick and get the credits back any time before its game begins.

Does it cost anything?

Accepted Answer

No. Entry is free, there's nothing to deposit, and you can't lose money playing — only credits.
